This is Macbeth

Repeated viewing of the theater scenes will help students appreciate the rich dialogue and multiple levels of meaning in the play.  Students can access all the theater scenes from the film for free on YouTube - click here for a list of links.  (If you prefer not to send your students to YouTube, we've put all the clips  right here on our website, as well.  

Things to try: Have your students first watch a scene first by itself, then read along in the text as they listen to the scene.  Are there lines that still don't make sense?  Have them note these lines for discussion in class.
