About Us
OUR MISSION
We set out to create an entertaining introduction to Shakespeare’s Macbeth, something that would make the world of Macbeth more approachable and instill a desire to continue to explore it. We think we’ve made something that rewards repeated viewing, and we’ll be anxious to hear from you what we can do to continue to make the website an even more valuable adjunct to teaching with the video.
ABOUT US
Jeremy Sabol is a Lecturer in Stanford University’s Program in Structured Liberal Education; he also teaches philosophy and literature in Stanford’s Continuing Studies Program. He holds a PhD in French Literature from Yale University. Jeremy plays Ralph Holinshed, the television show host, in This is Macbeth.
Greg Watkins is a Lecturer in Stanford University’s Program in Structured Liberal Education. He holds a joint PhD in Religious Studies and Humanities from Stanford University and an MFA in Film Production from UCLA. Greg wrote and directed This is Macbeth, and co-produced the film with Jeremy.
